Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate Prints

Working out using stencils and masks - and also printing the ghost print:

This print had lots of acrylic paint - so some puckering, etc - interesting texture on ghost.

Another set with interesting ghost prints:

And this one was created by laying the paint covered stencils on it after each print:

Projects - Projects - Projects

Now that I have my new studio space --- I can't stop making things.  No trouble keeping busy here!

Gel prints followed by Contact Paper Mask & Acrylic Paints

Gel Progression:
Started with a piece of watercolor paper that I had done several layers of gel prints.  Took some contact paper and cut out some shapes to use as a mask and placed on the gel print paperL

Then applied stripes of chromium oxide green and nickle azo gold acrylic paint over the masks and gel print.
Removed the contact paper masks and added details with more acrylic paints and black sakura marker.  The inspiration picture is there on the left - buoys hanging on a green shake-sided building.

The masks turned out pretty cool, too.  So, I placed them in my journal for future use/inspiration!
